Beasties play in the graded competition on Sundays.

PLAYER REGISTRATION
All age groups
Complete the following steps to register.
The registration process is best done in one sitting and will take approximately 5 - 10 minutes.
Please note, your fee is non refundable and covers participation costs including players kit, balls and field equipment, training, field hire, match day officials, management of competitions and insurances.
VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION
Coaches, managers, volunteers and match officials
If you intend on being a coach, manager or a volunteer of any type of volunteer (e.g. assistant referee/lines person or ground marshal) please also follow the below process to register yourself in addition to your child.
The process is largely the same except you select the appropriate role and enter your Working with Children Check (WWCC) if it isn’t already there. There is no cost to register as an adult.
STEP 1
Register/Retrieve WWC Number (Volunteers)
If you are a Coach, Assistant Coach, Manager, Assistant Referee, Ground Marshal or Volunteer you will need to know your Working with Children (WWC) Number. You must have this number before you can complete your registration. To apply for a WWC Number please see this page on the Service NSW website
STEP 2
Head to Rugby Xplorer to begin registration
Please ensure you have all of the following information. It is best to complete the entire registration process in one sitting.

A current photo of your child (head shot)

Know the height and weight of your child

Know the shoe, shorts, and jersey sizes of your child
To complete your registration head to Rugby Xplorer. This is an Australian wide registration system which must be used by all clubs in Australia. Follow the rest of the steps in this guide carefully as you proceed.
STEP 3
Setup registrations using Rugby Xplorer
Note: If you've played before, make sure you log in using the email address you previously used for Rugby registrations otherwise you will need to create a whole new account.

At this point, yours and/or your children's name should appear if they played last season.

If your child is new, or you are registering with a new email, you will be asked to create an account now.

Create the account in your name, as the parent, then add all your children that are intending to play. Before you move on to registering into Junior Beasties, all of your children should be linked to your Rugby AU account.
STEP 4
Setup registrations using Rugby Xplorer

When you are ready to register, hit Play Rugby, select one child and click NEXT. Enter the following details for each field.
Agree to Rugby AU Terms and Conditions, Click NEXT
Payment Screen will now appear, prices are as below. Please note there is a credit card surcharge of 2%.
Click FINISH
Registration Cost:
U10-U18: $367
Please note fees are non-refundable - just like our club fees and insurances. If your child is new to rugby and not sure if they want to play matches, select training only registration which is available for the first 3 weeks of the season only.
If you have more children, or would like to register yourself as a coach, manager, assistant referee, or ground marshal, please repeat this step. Note: registration for all volunteers and coaches is free.
STEP 5
Setup registrations using Rugby Xplorer
All Beasties communications are released through a platform called Stacks TeamApp.
Please follow the steps below to download and install the app, or if you don't have a smartphone, go to this link to sign up and view the App online.

Download Team App from the App Store or Google Play store.

Sign up to Team App. You will be sent an email to confirm your registration.

Log into the App and search for "Easts Junior Beasties"

Choose your applicable access group(s).
STEP 6
Complete
You have now completed the registration process.
Feel free to explore the Rugby Xplorer portal and ensure you and your child(ren) have all the correct details loaded.

What you're signing up for as a Volunteer
Interested in becoming a Team Manager and helping your kids rugby run smoothly and efficiently?
The role of the Team Manager is to:

Communicate game details and team updates via TeamApp.

Submit team lists and officials on the Rugby Match Day app before each game.

Manage the distribution and collection of Beasties uniforms.

Work with the Age Group Manager to share important club information

Interested in becoming a Coach and leading a team to victory?
The role of the Coach is to:

Develop and support players at training (Thursdays) and on game days (Sundays)

Foster a positive team environment, ensuring players build skills, confidence, and a love for the game

Work alongside player coaches and Head of Coaching to play the 'Beastie Way'

Interested in becoming a Ground Marshal and helping keep our games and players safe?
Every team must have a Ground Marshal for all competition and finals matches—without one, the game won’t start!
The role of Ground Marshal is to:

Ensure spectators and supporters follow the SJRU Code of Conduct, with zero tolerance for abuse toward match officials or players.

Remove anyone who fails to comply with referee or Ground Marshal instructions.
Complete the Ground Marshal course via Rugby Xplorer and help create a positive game-day environment. Contact the club for more details!
Interested in becoming an Assistant Referee and run the sidelines for your child's game?
The role of the Assistant Referee is to:

Support the official referee to ensure a fair and smooth game.
-
Help facilitate play—without an Assistant Referee, the game can’t go ahead!
A Smart Rugby certification is required, and completing the Assistant Referee course is recommended.
